Hi. I’m Danielle.
I have been living in Ramona pretty much my whole 30 years of life, so I love the area and know it well. I now reside here with my husband, my son and our 4 dogs. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and am currently working on my Masters in Family Therapy. My hobbies include reading, wineries, mushroom farming (no not those ones), watching the worst reality tv you can find and of course photography.
“I’m not a regular photographer. I’m a cool photographer”
I started taking photos back in 2016. It’s a funny story actually: I was in a biology class and we had to come up with our own experiment to write a full research paper on. I chose to do my experiment on Betta fish and the effect of water temperature in relation to scale color. So I needed a decent camera to get a good picture of the fish that showed even the slightest of changes so, I bought my first Nikon. The rest is history.
…..I’m sure you’re all wondering about the outcome of my experiment. Well, unfortunately…. it was a complete failure and I hosted my first (and last) triple Betta funeral because I forgot to put in water conditioner. Silver lining it got me into photography….. well and I got an A on that paper. My professor called it a research satire.
I consider myself to be in the “honeymoon phase” of my photography where I love doing it all. Families, Architecture, Weddings, Events, Babies, or even Pets. Give me a photo project with cool people and I am there. I am also really into doing things no one else is doing. Whether that’s a new location or maybe just a darker edit on pictures. I know when I take pictures with my family or of myself I like what I like and I know my clients are the same. So be sure to let me know what you’re going for and lets make it happen.
**I also love doing it as an art form, so the images littered around my site that feel random are just me new boot goofin**
